Gospel Factory Concert in Salamanca (21/12/06, 21:00)
Gospel Factory is a choir of 30 singers with all different music styles (gospel, soul, funk, reggea, r&b, blues, house, jazz, pop, rock and a capella music) and a band of 6 musicians. Their repertoire is based on black gospel and spiritual music with a link to clasical Afro-American themes like soul, jazz or blues, all from the same roots: the gospel.
Various choir members worked together with: Shakira, Jon Secada, Ricky Martin, Pauline Rubio, Juanes, Rita Marley, London Cummunity Choir, Carlinhos Brown and a big list of international soloists.
Danny Rews is the director of the Gospel Factory. His professional career in the Gospel world fluctuated between Europe and the USA. He sang in Afro-American choirs as a member of the choir and as a soloist.
He began singing gospel in North-American churches when he was 13 years old and at 15 he got nominated for a Grammy. This part of his career made is posible for his choir to sing American gospel in Spain. He worked with the most famous music artists, as well in Spain as in the USA. He contributed to the recording of the best selling cd´s in the country and he realized important international tours. A professional in all the different music styles.
