Vanessa Redgrave received the International Award of Arts

Yesterday, the actress Vanessa Redgrave (London, 1937) received the
International Award of Arts of Castilla - La Mancha (Premio Internacional de
las Artes Escénicas) "Court of Comedies of Almagro", just in time with the
end of the XXIX International Classical Theater Festival.

This daughter and sister of actors, who has been a member of the Royal
Shakespeare company since her youth, confessed at a press conference that a
few years ago she was about to give up the theater, a decision she finally
didn´t take "because someone convinced me that it was a delict" and above
all taking in account the siege at Sarajevo (Bosnia Hezegovina). "At this
time I actullay understood that the vocation of the theater, the existance
of the theater in all its forms, is vital for the resistance of the human
spirit and the survival of the human being", emphazised the British actress
who during her long professional career became famous for rejecting the wars
of Vietnam, Iraq and Chechenia and the northamerican captivity of Guantanamo
(Cuba) or for critizising the brutality of the police at some demonstrations
in Great Britain.

Vanessa Redgrave showed a lot of interest for the promotion of the theater:
"My main worry now is the general backup of the theater, the festivals, the
actors, the students of the theater, music, dance and interpretation."

The kings of cinema explore the world of videogames

Hollywood´s best directors like Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg soon will
not only be known in the world of cinema and movies but also in the world of
videogames.
Peter Jackson, who put himself out for the realisation of the videogame of
his wellknown movie King Kong, will be the future director of the filming of
the popular videogame "Halo", one of the most sold present videogames.

Steven Spielberg is working on a trilogy in form of a videogame, which in
the future will most likely be seen in the cinemas, too.
This arouses a great discussion about videogames brought to the cine and
movies becoming videogames. In other words, the videogames improve steadily
up to the quality of the cinema.

Consequently one could arouse the question:

Do we actually witness the birth of the 8th art considering the cinema as
the 7th?

The Spanish “Chupa-Chups” company became Dutch-Italian.

chupa chups style
Bernat’s family have quitted the business. Chupa-chups’s sale to Perfetti Van Melle ‘s Dutch-Italian multinational for a quantity, that at the moment, remains unknown is the perfect example of failure of business performance. The emblem project, which was started through Enric Bernat, at the end of the 50’s, will pass on to foreign hands.

Cupa-chup’s bankruptcy was partially due to a Treasury inspection.

loly-pop vision??

Let’s go back in time: Joseph Bernat became the man who found the first sweetshop in Spain. His grandson, Enric Bernat, took care of the business up until 1957, when he had the idea of introducing a sweet onto a stick, thereby creating the very first lolly-pop. A decade later Chupa-Chups came into international expansion up until the point at which the company, whose turnover reached 260 million euros a year, became a registered brand name manufactured in 150 countries.
